6) How does 4Q work and how do I set it up?

Setting up 4Q is a quick and easy process. Just follow these simple steps:

Step 1: Sign up for 4Q by providing all the required information, including your name, contact information, URL, site type, etc.

Step 2: Use the code provided in your confirmation email to active your account. Then, login to the 4Q portal with your email address and password.

Step 3: Go into the “Setup” portion of the “My Account” tools to customize your questionnaire. You can change the purpose of visit tags, select the language, and upload your logo. When you have finished, submit the changes.

Step 4: From the “My Account” screen, click on “Get Survey Code.” Copy and paste this code into the home page or any other high entry pages of your website. This code will trigger the survey invitation that will be displayed to visitors.

7) Where can I get access to my results?

You will have 24/7 access to your real time results dashboard through a secure online reporting tool.

8) I do not have access to the source code. How do I set up 4Q?

In order to implement 4Q, you'll need to have access to the source code of your website. If you're able to update the content of your homepage, you should be able to set up 4Q.

9) How does the invitation work?

4Q employs a two-stage invitation process. When visitors arrive at your site, they will be presented an invitation to participate in a survey after their session. If they accept, a second, minimized window, which contains the survey itself, will be launched and will wait in the background for the visitor to complete his or her session. 4Q surveys are designed to be collaborative brand building exercises, not annoying browsing interruptions.

10) How can I control how many visitors to my site are invited to participate in my survey?

The invitation rate can be adjusted at any time with one simple click. Just log into your account and click on “Adjust Survey Invitation Rate.” Then, move the slider left to decrease the invitation rate or move it right to increase the invitation rate. Remember to keep in mind your traffic figures when making changes to the invitation rate. Too small a sample could produce results that lack statistical validity. But too high a sample rate might mean you are surveying more visitors than you really need to in order to get valid results. It is important to find a balance.

11) How do I change my password?

It’s simple. All you need to do is login to your account management page, and you can reset your password with ease.

12) I have forgotten my password, how can I recover it?

If you’ve forgotten your password, click on the “Forgot your password?” link on the login page and follow the instructions on the screen. You’ll then be emailed a temporary password, which you’ll be able to change at any time by logging in and accessing your account management page.

13) What if I want to ask more questions in my 4Q survey?
